Here's some info about The CSBQ's upcoming events:
This Veterans Day we will be adding music to a memorial service at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis. This will be the 2nd year we've played this service, and it's truly an honor to be involved in this special service in memory of those who are serving and those who have served! The service starts at 2:00pm - we start prelude music at 1:30pm. The Minnesota Veterans Home is at 5101 Minnehaha Ave. South, Mpls, MN 55417.
On Sunday Nov. 13 we'll be performing on MacPhail's Spotlight Concert Series. Tim's done 3 awesome new arrangements for this show: Shostakovich's Festive Overture, Faure's Au Bord d l'eau, and Debussy's Bruyeres. We'll also be playing the Bohme Sextet with Bob Dorer, 2nd trumpet of the Minnesota Orchestra. It's super fun playing with Bob, and it's really an honor for us to be playing this great piece with him! The concert is at 7pm on the 13th in Antonello Hall at the MacPhail Center for Music downtown. See you there!
